Thinking Map Activity – Working Well In Groups: Conflict/Solution

 

Purpose – To complete a thinking map on group conflicts and resolutions from the following list:

·       Someone in your group is shy

·       Someone is not doing their fair share of work

·       Members of your group conflict

·       Someone in your groups speaks up too much

·       Someone in your group complains a lot

·       Your group is unable to stay focused

 

Directions –

1.)                        Pick a thinking map where you can write the conflicts (from the list above) and come up with solutions to them

2.)                        Once finished, place a red box around the map.  Answer the following in the red box:

a.   Give a personal example of one of the conflicts above

b.   How did it make you feel?

c.    What did you do?

d.   What should you have done?  (Relate to ethics if possible)

3.)                        We will have a discussion at the end
